Droooool....I was just going through my recipe binder today and came across this recipe that I ripped out of a Rachael Ray Magazine. I have made it before and it's a damn hit! Serve these babies with some steamed green beans and fried polenta and it will look like you slaved all day. When really you just hauled out the slow cooker again. I don't know why I am so into my crock pot lately? I think it's because I work from home and can smell the good stuff cooking all day.
When buying polenta, make sure you get the type that is in a tube - ready to be cut. I find it easiest to slice right down the middle of the package and cut the slices from there. Sautee in a hot pan with some olive oil. Here is the link to the recipe:
