The Bay Spring Fever Beauty Gala

Yours truly had the pleasure of DJ-ing & hosting The Spring Fever Beauty Gala at The Bay Bloor Street on Friday April 24th.  The theme was an Alice in Wonderland-themed, Mad Hatter Tea Party!  Tickets were only $10 with $8 going back towards your purchase of cosmetics and fragrances.  The remaining $2 went towards a charity, The Canadian Women's Foundation.  The ticket got you an all-access pass to all the events happening from 12-9 PM that day.

The Mad Models!

One of these things doesn't belong here....Gorgeous models that were literally a foot taller than me showed off some cute merch that The Bay is now carrying.  We are loving the Bestey Johnson jewellery, Rachel Roy clutch and Halston Heritage goodies

The Tea Party Table

The event attracted close to 700 attendees and everyone had the chance to enter to win a $2500 shopping spree at The Bay.  Ticket-holders also got their choice of four 'sweet', four 'savouries' and two 'potions' from The Mad Hatter Tea Party table.  It was easily one of the most popular spots at the event.  Each cosmetic and fragrance counter were running some great gift with purchases that day.  So if you were going to buy make-up, this was the day to do it!

Mini-Manicure Station

Purchases of $50 or more before taxes got access to a mini-manicure station for 10 minutes for a quick polish change.  Premier Salon's pop-up booth gave out free mini-updos and two very talented caricature artists would draw your portrait.  On top of that, each attendee received a Givenchy gift bag full of swag and a Bay reusable tote bag to haul away all their stash.

Getting a Spring Makeover at Dior

Lucky me!  I got a makeover from the visiting make-up artist from Dior.  What's hot for spring?  Pinks and purples for eyes and their lip maximizer to plump your pout!  The makeup counters at The Bay are full of friendly make-up artists ready to give you a new look or help you choose out product.  If you see an empty chair, don't be afraid to ask for a few suggestions for spring.

Hosting at The DJ Booth

Yes, I ate everything you see in the above photos.  If not for the quality control but for quality reporting.  You are completely welcome...everything was delicious including that fluffy coconut cupcake.  The Bay usually hosts a big gala event like this every season, so keep your eye out for the next one!
