Were you at the Red and White Ball this weekend? This glam-o-rama event was organized by Rethink Breast Cancer and was held on Friday at The Courthouse Nightclub in Downtown, Toronto. Organizers and attendees raised over $15,000 for this amazing cause, which helps young people affected with breast cancer. HUG correspondant and frequent Rethink volunteer, Sara Jane Budnark shared some of her amazing pictures with us!
One packed party!
The glossy red gift bags included a $50 gift certificate to the Rosewater Supper Club and a pink razor. Guests were encouraged to wear red and white as a deconstruction from the colour pink that is usually used for breast cancer events and awareness. Rethink organizers used red and white because, "The two neutral colours are symbolic of the hope and passion that fuel the relentless research efforts that will one day lead to a cure for this devestating disease." Well said.
