Hip & Urban Girl is back from a stellar mid-week getaway at Ste. Anne's Spa in Grafton, Ontario. Here's a sneak-peek of some of the hearty spa cuisine we indulged in after a day of massages, steaming and hot tubbing. The lamb and the beef were both free-range with roasted vegetables and either mashed potatoes or rosti. I was really looking forward to this three-course dinner which was part of our spa package. It was so nice to not have to worry about the cost, taxes or gratuities.

Other Eats - We also enjoyed chocolate tea and Balzac's gourmet roast coffee in their spa waiting room. This warm and gorgeous sunroom was full of over-sized couches for napping, reading and lounging. Spa-ing can make one peckish. The mini cups of nuts, apples and biscotti around the spa were a nice touch. Afternoon Tea is also available from 3-5 PM and Breakfast is served in the morning with continental and hot options until around 9:30 AM. I really dug their homemade yogurt with granola and honey drizzled on top.

Water & Wine - Ste. Anne's Spa Village is also equipped with fresh spring water which runs from every tap. You'll needs lots of it to keep hydrated post-massage and especially after spending time in the sauna. The dining room does not carry alcohol, but guests are able to bring their own bottles of wine and serve themselves.
