Courvoisier Exclusif Event with Matchstick

Pass the Courvoisier! Busta Rhymes definitely had part in making Courvoisier a household name. But it was local marketing company, Matchstick who really served it up in a unique and different way last Tuesday at the fancy schmancy Park Hyatt in Yorkville.
The night started with French Empire-themed dancing and stilt walking. Followed with a sit-down tasting where the guests were educated on detecting different blends of Courvoisier. The room was brimming with Toronto's hottest Bloggers trying to play 'bartender' for the night. Each table had an extensive array of alcohols, mixers and garnishes laid out and our task was to get creative and concoct the perfect cocktail. It was definitely a special evening that I will be talking about for a long time. I expected the typical 'invite to drink' but I loved how Matchstick took it one step further and came up with the idea of having a hands-on mixology event. It was informative, fun and totally re-branded Courvoisier Exclusif - a contemporary choice for a cognac made the old-fashioned way.

At the end of the night, each guest walked away with a gift bag filled with little sampler bottles of Courvoisier, a pen, 2 glasses and a cocktail recipes booklet.

Well done and thanks again to the Matchstick Team!
