Thinking of brunch this weekend? Look at this dreamy spread at Langdon Hall, a Relais and Chateaux Resort in Cambridge, ON that we featured on our blog last week. It's definitely inspiration for the holiday brunch we're cooking up for friends and family on Christmas Day. On the far right were peaches tossed in rosemary. All the food is first sourced locally or from the on-site Chef's garden before the restaurant looks elsewhere. The hearty fare is served up in rustic family-style platters and bowls. It was hard not to eat everything.

My poached egg with lobster chunks, a buttery broth with leeks and corn. It was worth waking up on time for. Our breakfast package included the continental buffet, as well as an item off the hot breakfast menu.
