We were really excited to have teamed up with local chef, Massimo Bruno last Thursday to bring our readers an Italian Supper Club Night, hug Italy. I met Massimo last year when my husband surprised me with a personal chef to cook me dinner as my 30th birthday gift. Massimo was such a wonderful and charismatic personality, that we hit it off instantly. He cooked some of the most delicious, yet simple Italian food for me that I knew we had to get together and do an event with him.
We hosted 35 of our readers at Massimo's Kitchen Loft for an interactive cooking demo, followed by a seven-course family style dinner. The menu included fresh, warm focaccia bread that Massimo had just pulled out the oven, artisanal salami, fresh figs, homemade pasta, fish, veal and dessert. All served up with a couple bottles of OPEN wine that paired up with our meal perfectly. Here are a couple snaps of what we got up to that night...

Missed our hug Italy night? You can still sign-up for one of Massimo Bruno's Supper Clubs for you and a group of friends. He runs them monthly. You can also hire him to be your personal chef in your own home for a dinner party.More pictures! More food! See the full hug Italy album online on our Facebook Fan Page.
