Potter-mania descended on Toronto last Wednesday for the premier of Harry Potter And The Deathly Hallows: Part 2, the final movie to wrap up JK Rowling's decade-long fantasy. It was a bittersweet moment for the wizards and muggles who took over Scotiabank Theatre in the Entertainment District. Some fans were in line as early as 6am and even the street signs were renamed!
I managed to snag one of the much sought after tickets and held back tears when Harry died but didn't die. Then I jumped onto my broom stick and off to the Black Carpet After-party. If you missed out on our post last week, here's the VIP lineup that we got to share butter beers with!
Casa Loma was lavishly transformed into Hogswort. We were greeted by Echo the owl, danced in the mist that billowed throughout the courtyard, cheered on UofT's Quidditch Team, hung out with a Lego Hagrid and will forever hang on to the childhood memories and magic in our hearts.
