The hug TIFF Report with MSN Entertainment

A sponsored hip + urban girl post.

So what do all the celebrities get? The Toronto International Film Festival is in full swing and celebs are flooding gifting suites all over the city. We spotted Russell Peters making everyone laugh inside the Tastemakers Lounge and taking home a pair of sleek glasses from Wescan Optical. Other guests were showered with Mavi Jeans, Water Bobbles, Conair hair tools, Pandora jewelry and Mattel’s Angry Birds game. Follow our friends @MSNca_Entertain as they take you to all the hottest gifting lounges happening during TIFF. You can also see what Wendy and I are getting up to during the festival by following us @hipurbangirl.

Where’s Brad? One of the biggest premieres of the festival was for Brad Pitt’s latest film, Moneyball. Pitt spoke during a press conference about how he connected to the underdog story of the Oakland A’s and how he related to the role. Make sure you read the full story on the press conference with Brad.  The always stunning Angelina Jolie was also in town, showing her support for hubby Brad by walking the red carpet in a long black gown and gold clutch.

Party Time! The top secret ‘Grammy award-winning performer’ for the Alliance Films party turned out to be none other than Cee-Lo Green. He opened the night up with ‘Bright Lights, Bigger City’ and entertained guests such as Phillip Seymour Hoffman, Evan Rachel Wood, Sarah Silverman and Paul Giamatti at South of Temperance. George Stroumboulopoulos took over the Hazelton Hotel for his own party on Friday night, while George Clooney AND Ryan Gosling were spotted at The Ritz Carlton. The ONEXONE benefit gala was held at The Kool Haus on Saturday with headliners Kardinal Offishall, Lupe Fiasco and Melanie Fiona.
