Day two of LG Fashion Week in Toronto brought Jay Manuel's Attitude line for Sears and a showcase of his Spring/Summer 2012 collection.
The packed house was scrambling for seats as volunteers ripped thin plastic off a shiny off a shiny new floor that was just aching for a slippery five inch stiletto. Add dry ice and its moist residue? You're bound to have runway roadkill, which saw one casualty and a slippery balancing act for the rest of the show.
Runway drama aside, Manuel brought along a few hot resort looks that would rock the beaches of Miami or the swimming pools of Las Vegas. Think brights, prints and flowy silhouettes that make you yearn for summer again. Ironically, it was cold and windy in Toronto, so all we could do was sigh as we popped open our umbrellas for the walk home.
A big dramatic start with dry ice
Fedoras, turbans, head scarves and big sunglasses were the accessory stars
Perfect looks for jet setting in comfort
Move over leopard, it's time for the giraffe print to shine
