Ringside: Bay Street trades their suits for boxing gloves

Last Wednesday, Bay Street bankers loosened their ties and stripped down to their boxers to battle it out for the Fight for Independence event and charity auction to benefit Nazareth House and SickKids Foundation.

The event was held at the Steam Whistle Brewery and we were there sitting ringside cheering on amateur boxers from the corporate world - TD, Bell, Vlaad, Chiado, Fidelity and more duked it out in glitz n' glam Las Vegas styles. God Made me Funky provided us with the entertainment and food was catered by SALT. There was also an auction with a roaster of incredible prizes - everything from a signed photograph of Justin Bieber (which was bidding for $325 toward the end of the night) to Celebrity Golf to a His & Her NYC Weekend Getaway complete with a private jet and tickets to Katy Perry's sold-out concert at MSG (which after a fierce bidding war, went for $7500)!
