The Toronto Christmas Market returns to The Distillery District this year with an outdoor beer garden, a ferris wheel and a European-style marketplace full of gifts and food. Last year we drank mulled wine and hot chocolate under the stars next to an outdoor firepit - dreamy. Ok, cold...but still dreamy. The street eats included raclette cheese poutine, roasted chestnuts and Oktoberfest sausage. The event runs:
December 2nd - 18th, 2011
Monday to Friday from 12-9 PM
Saturday/Sunday from 10 AM - 9 PM
The best time to attend is at night, when The Distillery District is lit up and all the Christmas lights are sparkling. Rotating musical entertainment on the mainstage include carolers, Christmas brass ensembles, folk dancers and local choirs to get you right into the holiday spirit.
