Straight Up With The Salon Shape

Have you checked out Conair's latest professional hair tools yet? They have collaborated with John Frieda Haircare Professionals to create a collection of head-turning blow dryers, straighteners and curlers.

I always thought that in order to get that "right out of the salon" look, you seriously needed to grow an extra arm - one to hold the dryer, one to struggle with the round brush and another to section off your hair! So I accepted the fact that I was always going to have flat hair or have to pay for expensive blow-outs... but then I saw this!!
The Salon Shape is basically a 1 ½” round brush that emits air through the bristles allowing you to dry and brush your hair at the same time! There are 3 heat settings and the titanium ceramic-coated barrel with advanced ionic conditioning effortlessly transforms frizzy, dull hair to silky, luxurious locks.
I love how easy it is to use (just section damp hair off, blow dry lifting from the roots and pulling hair away from the scalp). It's super convenient for traveling or to take to the gym (no need to pack a separate dryer + brush) and delivers a super smooth finish that lasts all day.

The one down-side of this product is that the brush doesn't actually rotate so perhaps for the next version, they can create that option but for now, my hair is very happy and so am I.

The John Frieda Salon Shape Volumizer Hot Air Unit retails for $59.99 and can be purchased at The Bay, Sears and Walmart.

  1. Didn't you find it awkward and bulky to hold? That was my problem with the product

  2. It's definitely more bulky than your standard round brush but since I wasn't rotating it through my hair, I didn't find it too awkward to use.
