It's our Winter Beauty Round-up! Here's what caught our eye over at the hug offices. A few of these would make unique stocking stuffers too. Enjoy our finds...1) Sweet Leaf Bath Lip Balm in 100% Compostable Eco Tube ($4.75)
Not only do the flavours like Chocoberry, Pomengranate and Peppermint smell delicious, the lip balm contains organic oils and butters. Each tube is made from 100% recycled paper and holds up to 30% more lip balm because of the unique packaging. Once you're done, the whole tube is compostable. It's definitely convinced us to switch our lip balm to this fair trade Canadian company. Order online or pick one up at The Drake General Store.
2) Quo by ORLY Nail Polish ($10)
We spotted lots of glittler and sparkles from Quo, the house brand at Shoppers Drug Mart. They have released a line of nail polishes with mega nail polish company, ORLY. The line is peppered with cute names like Coffee & Cream and Cotton Candy which sound good enough to eat - but don't. The Holiday Collection is available in-stores now.
3) Oil of Olay Oil Minimizing Toner ($5.99)
This toner had a pleasant smell and did not leave my skin raw or stripped of moisture. It had the perfect balance of removing excess oil, dirt and make up while leaving my skin toned and primed for moisturizer. The toner is part of the facial cleansing line that also has an affordable cleanser and blackhead scrub too. It's a steal at six bucks and delivered great results.
4) Benefit Speed Brow Gel ($16)
If you're constantly hustling to get out the door every morning, skim some time off your make up routine with this speedy brow gel. Swipe it on with two quick strokes using this mascara-like wand. Puts your brows in place, dries quick and adds a slight tint. One natural shade for all brows. You may never go back to making pencil strokes or using a powder again. We're hooked.
