Postcards from the Bahamas Baby!

Last week I introduced a new series on our site called The Before Baby Project which will document my LAST YEAR of being baby-free and the journey to becoming a hip + urban mom. I'm almost finished making my list of all the things I hope to do before starting a family and I can't wait to share my experiences with you!

On the top of my list is going on a family vacation to the Bahamas with my In-Laws... no, I haven't gone crazy and yes, not only did I endure it but I thoroughly enjoyed it! They all live in the West Coast and I don't see them very often so seriously, this was a real treat.
#hugTO in Bahamas baby!
Heard it's snowing back in TO... here's a dose of sunshine to brighten up your day.
Home sweet home!  Now this is a true haven of tranquility - villas with perfectly manicured gardens and your own pool!
Vegan pizza cooked in a wood-burning oven right on the beach.
Island food here is presented like art! It's served fresh and all day long.
Sandals Royal Bahamian has its own private island called Sandals Cay. The sand is like baby powder and the ocean is a breathtaking blend of blues and greens...
I went snorkeling for the first time and I'm addicted!!
The Red Lane Spa offers massages in oceanfront cabanas with the waves crashing in.
Totally bliss.
Lots of pretty peacocks roaming the island.
Shrimp cocktail served under the stars and over the sea @ Gordon's On The Pier.
Kudos to Chef Cedric! This Surf n' Turf tastes as good as it looks.
Before Baby Project #1: family vacation in the Bahamas. Checked!
