I first met Love The Design's owner, Christine Flynn at a wedding industry event that our mutual friend Cynthia Martyn had hosted. I knew Christine had impeccable taste as I had spent lots of time ooohhhh and ahhhhing over her stationery and invitation designs. So it was no surprise that Christine took her talents one step further and opened a chic little furniture and home decor store in Toronto's east end.
From the interesting cushions to the vintage furniture finds, I can tell how incredibly well-curated this store is. If your home feels like a cookie-cutter big box store has thrown up in it - this is the place you're going to need to visit to inject some unique modern vintage style into it. We can all only have so much chocolate brown furniture! Trust me - I lived in that for waaaay too long.
A sampling of Christine's artwork that is also for sale in the store (above).
You'll find anything from milk bottles, to sugar sack cushions, vintage typewriters and iron hooks. It's better than the flea market.
