Hudson Jeans' 10th Anniversary Party + FLARE

Flare Magazine and Hudson Jeans celebrated the 10th Anniversary of the denim company with the launch of the Fall 2012 Campaign, the Hudson Cabaret. Parlour in Toronto played host to the event - a sunken and velvety venue, where guests, including MTV’s Aliya Jasmine Sovani and many of Toronto’s best fashion bloggers, sipped white wine sangria in anticipation of the campaign video screening of the latest denim styles.

Georgia May Jagger (above) is the new face of the Hudson Cabaret campaign. The famous model coyly welcomes you to the Hudson Cabaret at the start of the campaign videos and then does an impressive running man in jeans lined with a black stripe down the side.

Providing a first-hand look at the campaign, models walked throughout the venue to a DJ set by Brendan Canning. Hudson Jeans is welcoming the new season with waxed coated, ombre, printed and patterned jeans in jewel tones and metallics.

These baroque style patterned jeans were the first to come out and were a popular pair amongst the crowd. Patterns have been a hot trend for summer and we’ll see it carry through on to denim this Fall.
The ombre trend has jumped from hairstyles to jeans with these bright red jeans with a metallic sheen. This style also comes in a steel grey version that fades into a metallic charcoal. Both colours could easily be worn in daytime or evening.
Finally, I can’t wait to get my hands on a pair of these racing stripe jeans. They come in a variety of colours including this maroon version, a subdued cream and a vibrant blue.
There is no reason to fade into drab dark coloured denim when the cold weather rolls around this year. So, bring on the ombre, patterns and metallic prints because it’s time to play up our denim styles this Fall.
