On Sunday September 9th, the 25th and final M•A•C Viva Glam Fashion Cares gala took place at the Sony Centre for the Performing Arts. Fashion Cares is a favourite annual event amongst fashion-lovers in the city. Elton John headlined the event and Canadian supermodel Linda Evangelista and Dean & Dan Caten of DSQUARED2 played host.

The gala included performances by Janelle Monae, Scissor Sisters and Sky Ferreira as well as runway presentations of local designgers and a display from the costume archives of Elton John.

The evening was a benefit for Canadian HIV/AIDS foundations nationwide. On the red carpet, we caught some favourites including Jeanne Beker, Chantel Kreviazuk,Raine Maida, Jully Black, Kreesha Turner, Jesse Labelle, Matt Dusk and Diamond Rings.
