OPI Goes Euro Centrale for Spring 2013

We're always a season ahead with fashion, and polish is no different. OPI unveiled it's spring / sumer 2013 collection at the posh Trump Toronto Hotel over cosmos, an amazing lunch and a presentation by Suzi Weiss-Fischmann, OPI Executive VP artistic Director.

If you're familiar with OPI (and really, which polish addict isn't?), you'll know each collection is inspired by a particular theme. For spring, OPI takes us to central Europe and created hues named for emerging fashion hot spots in the region. Polishes are aptly named Can't Find My Czechbook and You're Such A BudaPest and the collection includes everything from a subtle nude to royal blue. Spring shades won't be in stores until February 6th sadly, but you don't have to wait until then to swipe on a new OPI nail colour...
...because OPI also revealed it's next celeb collaboration and it's with the quintessential girly girl, Ms. Mariah Carey!

I got to test drive one of the Mariah Carey by OPI Stage Shades called Stay The Night. It's matte black with red glitter in OPI's new liquid sand finish. The entire collection features 8 very glam polishes, but the liquid sand is pretty fabulous. It resists chips really well and is recommended that you go without a top coat - so very low maintenance which I love. A few days later my mani is still going strong.
Mariah Carey by OPI will be available at professional salons and spas in January 2013. At just $10.95 a pop, I deem them the perfect guilt-free, post holiday indulgence. See the full collection online in the new year at www.opi.com
