Toronto Street Style Chic At The Label Show

We’re headed into awesome territory. The Hip + Urban Girl's Guide got an exclusive sneak preview into Label Clothing’s 2013 Spring/Summer Collection during Toronto Fashion Week.

Have you heard of Label yet? Toronto-based designers Shawna Robinson and Natalie Sydoruk are the masterminds behind the collection. Together, they’ve created a playful and stylish line of eco-friendly clothes designed for comfort, sustainability, and wearability. Added bonus: Label is affordable.

Free-flowing garments, bold prints, and hipster chic define next season’s collection. Here were my top picks from the runway:

A vivid skip bra paired with boyish 180 Shorts and a Venice Beach jacket equals summer fun. Readers, heads up: jade green is dominating the trends for next spring (right). Black on black is a total hit. Achieve a casual but stylish look with the Paradise sweater and black Invader pants (left).

This outfit is free-flowing and sexy with a green-striped pool top and Cove skirt (right). Recipe to get noticed: start with a bold printed top and a cascading minimalist skirt. Then add just a hint of a skip bra underneath. Results are tantalizing (left).

The little black dress never goes out of style – and I love how Label shakes it up with a unique cut at the shoulders and legs, and a lively piece of jewelry (right). This outfit is simple but lasting. A white tee with a girlish twist at the belly contrasts with boyish 180 Shorts. I love the splash of colour with the necklace (left).

Holy hotness, Batman! This sleeveless outfit with a plunging neckline proves that onesies can be super sexy (right). We saw black on black, and now white on white. This chic outfit is spiced up with bright makeup and a little exposure of skin (left).

Label creates eco-friendly clothing and uses organic, renewable or reclaimed fibers in their garments, whenever possible. So you can feel good about looking cute and doing the enviro a solid!

Label Clothing is available in select stores across Canada, or shop online at your convenience. Nice work, Shawna and Natalie!
