Last week, before Hurricane Sandy was a harsh reality, HP celebrated the launch of Windows 8 with a stellar concert featuring Far East Movement hosted at live music venue Terminal 5, in New York City and we were there!
Pre-concert the vibe was high tech meets multi-sensory entertainment with an aerial artist show, gaming atop a gigantic laptop, and a photo booth that let you virtually pose with the band.
We could even change the ambience by touching various screens around the venue that were connected to the lighting system. FYI pink always gives a flattering glow.
The highlight of the night came when Far East Movement brought that d-d-durrrty bass and the house down with a high energy performance. I have to admit, I'm not hugely familiar with their music, but they put on a great show and I was literally inches away from the stage so a dance party ensued.Huge thanks to HP for introducing me to Far East Movement and Windows 8 in one of my favourite cities. Definitely an experience I won't soon forget.
