HUG and The City

Happy New Year!

Each week we filter through many events to bring you a shortlist of unique things to do in and around the city. So check back each Monday and we'll make sure you always have something to look forward to throughout the week!

Polar Bear Dip
> Toronto Polar Bear club will once again brave the brisk waters of Lake Ontario to raise funds for affordable housing. Start the year with a splash- for a good cause!
When: Tues, Jan 1
Where: Sunnyside Beach (1755 Lake Shore Blvd W)

Strip Spelling Bee: Post-Apocalypse Edition
> The game is played a lot like strip poker, but it's a spelling bee, and it's played in front of a live audience of hooters, hollerers and hecklers who want to see some smart and sexy skin!
When: Fri, Jan 4
Where: Buddies in Bad Times Theatre (12 Alexander St)

Brewer's Backyard: Brew Year's Day
> We're enjoying our Canadian winter with food pairings and a slate of six Ontario craft brewers (the most ever!) each bringing rare, unique and potent beers including imperial stouts, baltic porters, oak aged ales and black IPAs.
When: Sun, Jan 6
Where: Evergreen Brick Works (550 Bayview Ave)
