Make This! Creamy Crab & Red Pepper Spread

During the holidays last year, I made an attempt at making Kraft's Creamy Crab & Red Pepper Spread for the annual family tree-trimming party. Since it ranked pretty high on the seriously delicious scale, I thought I would re-post this again for those of you entertaining and looking for a potluck item tor bring with you over the holidays.

It does not look like the picture yet. Maybe I should eat a spoonful to make sure it's good?
Success! My Creamy Crab & Red Pepper Spread served up with a side of Ritz Whole Wheat Crackers. It was a really quick and simple recipe for any hip + urban girl or guy to make. If you can mix things in a bowl - you can make this. The most difficult part was getting to the grocery store. Serve with wine...LOTS OF WINE.
Prepare to have your mind blown, family.
Yup. It goes over like gangbusters. We attempted to feed it to the stuffed animal, but he had a seafood allergy. Here's the recipe:
Creamy Crab and Red Pepper Spread

2 green onions, thinly sliced, divided
1 tub  (8 oz.) light cream cheese
1 can (6 oz.) lump crabmeat, drained
1/2 cup  shredded sharp Cheddar Cheese
1/2 cup finely chopped red peppers
1 Tbsp. Dijon Mustard
Ritz Crackers 
REMOVE 2 Tbsp. onions; set aside. Mix remaining onions with all remaining ingredients except crackers.
REFRIGERATE 1 hour.
SPRINKLE with reserved onions. Serve with crackers.
