Don't Cook. Just-Eat!

What I wished my turkey looked like. Photo Credit.
A sponsored hip + urban girl post.

What’s the grossest thing you’ve ever cooked? I once made a turkey for my friends at my annual Christmas party and accidently left the plastic bag of giblets inside – ugh. I was 18 and seriously had no clue how to even boil an egg let alone cook a 10-pound bird.

I’m no chef and my cooking has improved a bit since then, but there are nights when you just don’t feel like cooking. Nor do you feel like experimenting with any dishes from a wannabe celebrity chef like Gordon Oliver, a parody created by our friends at Just-Eat.ca. If you missed his appearance on EatTalk last night, here it is!

So what’s a busy city girl to do? Enter Just-Eat.ca, an easy way to order your favourite take-out online and have it delivered straight to your door. Just plug in your postal code, click on the type of cuisine you feel like and voila! Lots of local choices like sushi, Thai food and Indian magically appear.
If you’re unsure about which restaurant to order from, check the ratings to see what the reviews have been like or organize your search by best score. Most restaurants offer free delivery while some charge a fee ranging from $3-7. But when you’re lying on the couch after a long day at work, sometimes you just want the food to come to you.

As for our friend, Chef Gordon Oliver - find out what happens to him at: www.dontcookjusteat.ca
