This Happened At Amex UNSTAGED...

This is a sponsored hip + urban girl event.

While I would have loved to travel to London, England to check out the Kings of Leon last Friday, I know I had a better time watching the concert via Amex UNSTAGED live stream in Toronto. First off, I got to share the experience with my fellow Amex Ambassadors: 1 Love TO, The Planet D and Everything Mom. And also for the first time, we invited one lucky reader plus their guest to experience American Express' signature red carpet treatment with us!

The glamorous evening started as we boarded a party limo that whisked us away in true Amex style to Revolution Recording Studios in Leslieville...

After a quick paparazzi photo session, guests indulged in pre-cocktails with hors d’oeuvres before dining on a 3 course meal that included a poppy seed-crusted salmon Nicoise salad, a choice of Southern Fried chicken or charred corn and saffron risotto as our main and a sinful pecan crusted pie topped with chantilly cream and chocolate ganache. Yum!

It's show time! KOL brought out a young and fun vibe to fans across the world in a laugh out loud collaboration with comedian Fred Armisen. This is the 13th “American Express Unstaged” music series which is a cutting-edge live event and interactive digital platform that brings together our fave musical artists with renowned film directors. Check out clips from past Amex Unstaged performances.

How hard can it be to be a rock star, right? We got vocal in the recording studio belting out "Use Somebody" and voila, we went platinum in one night! Care to buy one of our chocolate CD's?!

Sound like fun? Well the Amex UNSTAGED series is really just another one of their Cardmember benefits that offer a superior level of service and access to unique entertainment experiences. From skipping the line with Front Of The Line to Membership Rewards which brings you closer to the things you desire like shopping and travel.

Stay tuned as we continue covering other Cardmember inspiring events and experiences on our site.
