Logging LONG hours in the Financial District?
We feel your pain and we were pretty stoked to hear that Yoga Be will be the first yoga studio to open in Toronto’s PATH system in July 2014. SO genius! Why didn't someone think of this sooner?
Owner Laura Baron is a former Bay Street litigator, and aims to integrate mindful yoga classes into the busy schedules of the corporate professionals. We love the idea of work/life balance and the accessibility of Yoga Be's studio in the downtown core.
“For years I worked long hours with intense deadlines as a corporate litigator on Bay Street,” says founder Laura Baron. “I had bouts of back and neck pain, my digestive system was constantly in knots, and I never had enough time to travel to yoga studios across town. Yoga Be is my solution for the busy downtown core; offering a life-enriching practice that is easily accessible and works with the chaotic schedules of urban professionals.”
In addition to classes in Flow Yoga, Hatha, Restorative, and Pilates, Yoga Be has a selection of programs designed specifically for the needs of working professionals.
“Essential” classes are set at 45 minutes during the lunch hour, and a unique partnership with vegan/gluten-free Kupfert and Kim PATH eatery ensures that clients can be back at their desk with a delicious and healthy lunch in under an hour.
A Better than Coffee Yoga Break presents 20 minutes of yoga clients can do daily in their suits, and Computer Back is a revitalizing open level flow class focused on releasing tension in the shoulders, neck, and back.
The studio will be located in the concourse level of MetroCentre at 200 Wellington Street West. To learn more, visit: yogabe.ca
