Host A No Fuss Thanksgiving Dinner With Longo's Turkey Kit

By Andrea Coons and Wendy Kam Marcy

Love hosting dinner parties during the festive season but frightened by the prep work and clean-up? The Longo Turkey Kit is perfect for hip + urban girls who want the deliciousness without the fuss - which means less time in the kitchen and more time with family and friends!

Our Longo's Thanksgiving Kit came with a Signature Turkey, grain-fed and locally raised on a third-generation farm right here in Ontario. It also includes 5 traditional sides. For $100, you can feed 4 to 6 people.

Order today until October 6th before 5 pm and we'll give you a $10 discount on delivery (see coupon below)!

Andrea, our guest blogger hosted this early Thankgiving Dinner and here's what she and her hungry guests had to say...

Longo’s Signature Turkey kit was a quick and easy way to enjoy a traditional turkey dinner. The kit arrived to our front door, courtesy of Grocery Gateway, and required only 90 minutes of preparation. Included was a large turkey, mashed potatoes, butternut squash, stuffing, cranberry sauce and gravy. We threw in a few extras like cheese and crackers, a salad and a pie for dessert.

The turkey was fully cooked, seasoned and ready to roast in the oven. All we had to do was baste it a couple of times during the cooking process using the drippings. The turkey was extremely moist and flavourful!

While the turkey was being carved, we heated the gravy on the stove top and this was the ONLY pot that we needed to use. Then, using the containers they arrived in, we microwaved the butternut squash, mashed potatoes and stuffing. All the items were ready to enjoy at the same time and there was very little clean-up afterwards.

There was enough substantial left-overs (even after feeding six hungry adults!), so we made turkey salad sandwiches for lunch the next day. This kit definitely made it convenient to host Thanksgiving in our small kitchen! It was great having such fresh food all prepped and delivered to us.
