My Food Diary - Nashville, Tennessee

By: Lisa Ng

Yee-haw! I am back after an amazing week in Nashville, Tennessee.

If you're looking for a destination where you can eat southern food and sip on microbrews and artisan whiskey until you fall down singing a country song - then Nashville might be the city for you. Air Canada flies direct from Toronto and it's only a two-hour flight to this food-loving city.

I had a great time sampling the fried chicken + biscuits at Loveless Cafe

Tried some Tennessee barbecue at Peg Leg Porker

Ate at Arnold's, a meat + three restaurant of homemade southern cooking

Sampled some locally-made artisanal whiskey at Corsair Distillery

Hung out at a biergarten, drank some beer and ate the most amazing burger in my life at The Pharmacy Burger Parlor and Beer Garden.

I highly recommend a long weekend in Nashville. To see more, read my Travel Guide to Nashville, Tennessee and my reviews of the Loveless Cafe + The Hutton Hotel.

Until next time!
