#EatRealFood: Chef Doug McNish Holiday Dinners

Nothing says happy holidays than being surrounded by good company, some fine wine and delicious food!

This year, my family will be celebrating Christmas eve with another couple, and as busy mamas of rambunctious little one year old boys, we decided to leave the cooking to our friend, Chef Doug McNish <-- yup, he's the guy behind those #KaleIsTheNewBeef t-shirts! :)

Chef McNish is offering a ready-to-enjoy organic, vegan, gluten-free holiday meal that includes generous servings of:

  • French Lentil and Millet Loaf with Caramelized Onion and Fresh Herbs
  • Roasted Root Vegetables (parsnip, squash, carrots, celery root)
  • Sage & Apple Stuffing (GF or Sprouted Wheat)
  • Spiced Sweet Potato and Coconut Mashed Potatoes
  • Mushroom Miso Gravy & Cranberry Sauce

Add-on a tapas platter or cheesy baked squash mac & cheese and don't forget dessert (raw egg nog cheesecake, raw berry crumble and more)!

Cost $50 to $95.

Pick up at Public Kitchen on 561 Marlee Avenue (free parking and steps from Glencairn Subway Station).
