I love fancy lattes but definitely don't like standing in long lineups to get one or paying the $5 (plus the extra 50 cents for soy milk). So I did a happy dance when Nespresso launched their VertuoLine, an intelligent and innovative single-serve system that delivers richly aromatic, deeply flavoured coffee and espresso.
If you've ever used a Nespresso machine, you'll notice these capsules to be slightly different and that is because the new VertuoLine centrifusion technology spins the capsule to extract the coffee flavour. It is a unique method that delivers the perfect brew every time.
Pop in one of the shiny little capsules and the simple and convenient one-button operation reads the barcode and creates your coffee by cup size (now you can brew a large!), temperature, rotational speed, flow rate and time the water is in contact with the coffee. In just a minute to a minute and half, you get your wonderful cup of pick-me-up.
Chose your own java adventure! Each machine comes with a 12 pack sampler that includes 8 for brewing coffee (from mild to bold intensity) and 4 espresso varieties.
Why this is my most loved kitchen small appliance now!
Single serve machines are convenient (it's like having a barista right in your own kitchen), cost-effective (if you drink coffee daily, this machine pays for itself within a year) and the VertuoLine takes up little space and looks great on any countertop!
Nespresso VertuoLine is priced starting at $299 and comes in 3 colours: Red, Black and Chrome. Available at all Nespresso Boutiques.
