Earth Day Weekend at Evergreen Brick Works

By: Lisa Ng

Celebrate Earth Day with an amazing weekend-long celebration at Evergreen Brick Works!

Want to plant a tree? Dig in and plant native trees and shurbs—you'll help make Evergreen Brick Works a little greener. Head on over to the Evergreen Brick Works website to sign-up as a volunteer.

First time at Evergreen Brick Works? Join The Sight and Sounds of Spring: Guided Tour of Evergreen Brick Works. Learn all about the history of this reclaimed site and what's being done to revitalize it.

Evergreen Brick Works will also be hosting clay-building classes, hatha yoga, a community clothing swap, a hands-on cooking class for kids, bike repairs and more! One of my all-time favourite things is the Saturday Farmers' Market that runs from 9 AM to 1 PM. Shop what's in-season from local farmers and producers. Come hungry, because there's lots of great food to eat from the local vendors.
