Save the date: October 23 - 25 because Cask Days returns for its 4th year at Evergreen Brick Works.
Beer festivals are a dime in a dozen in The Six so it's no surprise that this one boasts 150+ participating breweries and 300+ offerings on cask... what makes it different from the rest is that Cask Days is a family run event that serves up cast-conditioned ales & ciders and also celebrates art, live music and local foods that complements real ale.
So what exactly is cask-ale?
Unlike most beer, which is delivered from the brewery in a finished state, cask-conditioned ale does not complete its fermenting until days or even moments before it is delivered to the drinker. I have always preferred cloudy (unpasteurized) beers for it's mildly carbonated and refreshing taste, and I think you will too. Cheers!
Check out the Cask Days website for more information & to purchase tickets.
