I'm pretty adamant about eating a healthy breakfast every morning.
Which is why I wanted to share five of my favourite go-to breakfast ideas. Most of them are pretty easy to whip up on a weekday, I also like to repeat my breakfasts for at least 2-3 days in row so I use up all the ingredients and I don't have to shop or think about what I'm going to eat.
1) Roasted Cauliflower Breakfast Bowls
The secret to this recipe is prepping and roasting up your curried cauliflower on a Sunday so you have it on hand all week. Just add an egg and some salad greens. See the full recipe here.
Sometimes I like the idea of grazing over a raw breakfast plate. Here's what I usually like to include in this easy to assemble meal.
If you haven't tried the latest health craze - here's your chance! It's like a smoothie in a bowl topped with granola and fruit. See my Acai Berry Bowl recipe.
4) Baked Oatmeal
This is another great breakfast idea you can prep at the start of the week and grab and go. See the recipe from Wholesome Dish!
5) Peanut Butter + 'Jelly' Smoothie
If you have a nutri-bullet, this recipe is just blend and go. My version uses frozen organic berries, peanut butter, oats and almond milk. See the full recipe here.
