Ste. Anne's Spa Getaway

By Wendy Kam Marcy

Flying off to a tropical resort or making the 3+ hours trek to cottage country isn't always an option. So next time you need a breather, Ste. Anne's Spa located in Grafton, is only a 90 mins drive from downtown Toronto. Far enough to escape the concrete jungle but still close enough for a relaxing getaway that won't break the bank.

Ste. Anne's Spa is an adults only all-inclusive day and overnight spa resort. My recent stay over the Labour Day long weekend was romantic and relaxing enough to compete with any luxurious holiday getaway.

  6. A Ste. Anne's Spa getaway would be great in any season but it would be great to be there when the leaves were changing in the Fall. @yyz_talk

  7. Well the food looks awesome, love the idea of afternoon tea! The grounds look so nice and calming and the mediation session is just another perk which would make this such a relaxing trip. The grotto also sounds so cool - something I would love try. I think this is the perfect fall getaway because it has a little bit of everything, and it is also very close to Toronto, what more do you need?

  16. Ste. Anne's Spa is the perfect getaway because beauty inspires creativity and introspection. To be afforded the opportunity to remove one's self from the everyday bustle and disconnect externally only to look within and reconnect internally is a privileged undertaking that nature and relaxation inspires. My husband and I would be humbled - we are both in transition professionally and it would be nice to mark the beginning of the next phase of our lives with this retreat. Thank you for your very generous offer :).

  19. The secluded setting of Ste. Anne's Spa makes it the ideal place to take in the fall foliage of the surrounding countryside and experience the restorative powers of nature. There is nothing I would rather do this fall than watch the leaves change into brilliant hues of orange, crimson and gold, while I lounge around in a spa robe and slippers, enjoying a locally sourced meal on Ste. Anne's outdoor patio. ( email: ramona.sansait@gmail.com)

  21. St. Anne's sounds like a great way to get out of the city while still being close to it. The accommodations look cozy but still modern and comfortable. And the robes look like a great way to lounge about and relax in!

  22. I happened to stumble upon your website and will be following it from now on! It looks like you and your husband had a wonderful time here. Definitely a little piece of heaven. Beautiful surroundings, especially with the changing leaves, delicious harvest-time cuisine, amenities and spa services to relax soothe every strain...what more could you ask for. I got married about half a year ago and we couldn't afford to go on a honeymoon but it looks like Ste. Anne's would be a great place to spend some time together without breaking the bank. Whether or not we win the getaway, we will definitely be spending some time here. Thanks for the opportunity to indulge in this amazing place!

  23. I'd love to visit Ste. Anne's this fall - I've been in the summer with girlfriends and enjoyed the pool, an in the winter with my mom and loved how cozy it felt. But I've been meaning to go back with my boyfriend to enjoy the romantic side of Ste. Anne's, and the fall is a perfect time to enjoy the fall colours and go for a walk on the grounds. And maybe pumpkin-inspired menu items?

Not only I can be away from the Toronto traffic, I will finally get to enjoy the autumn leaves, great cuisine, and maybe a trip to the spa too! It's been a hectic year with work and part-time school ... take me to a fun & relaxation time, Wendy & Lisa! =)
